About the Venue

We kick off the 2026 season deep in the Oregon Coast Range at the Alsea Falls Trail System — and we could not be more excited to welcome Team Dirt to our growing family of host trail clubs.

Alsea Falls is a true gem of mountain biking in the Coast Range, a playground built by riders for riders. This trail system is the result of dedicated professional and volunteer trail builders who poured their passion into every berm, jump, booter, and rock garden on the mountain. Their love for the sport shows in every inch of trail and you can feel it the moment you drop in.

Set against the primeval, densely green forest of the Oregon Coast Range, Alsea Falls offers a lush and dramatic backdrop that makes every ride feel like an adventure. Whether you are a seasoned expert or working your way up through the Sport ranks, the terrain here will challenge and inspire you.

Located near Monroe and accessible from both the Oregon Coast and the Willamette Valley, Alsea Falls brings the Ride the Dirt Wave series closer than ever to riders in the Eugene and Corvallis area. We know many of you already call Alsea Falls your home trails and we are so excited to finally bring Ride the Dirt Wave to you!

The Race Course

1.72 miles

Drop in at the top on Misery Whip, a black-diamond trail that sets the tone from the start. The course transitions onto the blue-level flow of Middle Whistlepunk before finishing at the bottom of Lower Whistlepunk — a course that rewards both technical skill and speed.

Getting There & Parking

Plan Your Arrival

The Alsea Falls Mountain Biking Trailhead lot is reserved for event tents and shuttles — there is no racer parking in the lot. Volunteers will direct you: enter the lot, pass through the gate, turn around, and park on the east side of the road, pulling far enough off to let shuttle vans pass. All vehicles must be cleared out by 3:00 PM as the gates will be locked. Additional paid parking is available at the Alsea Falls Recreation Site day-use area.
